🫖 Plum Blossom Teapot F1 80s

📎The teapot was made by craftswoman Zhang Zhi'ying 张志英 in the late 80s. Zhang Zhi'ying was born in June 1964 in the heart of Yixing ceramics - Dingshu Village. She studied with master Ge Yuechun 葛岳纯 and worked at Factory No. 1. In November 2012, she received the official status of a National-level Arts and Crafts Master 国家级工艺美师

🧱 Clay Ji Ni (purple) and covered with red (Hong Ni), a classic NZVH teapot. The material of the upper part of the teapot and the "wooden" elements, i.e. the handle of the teapot and the handle of the lid, is also Ji Ni, but more saturated. The leaves are Ben Shan Lu Ni with cobalt impurities.

💫 Inside, you can clearly see how this teapot was made: the lower and upper parts were made in a mold, which were then glued together using red clay, the neck rim was glued, and then the spout, handle and decorative elements were added by hand, completing the overall exterior.

✨ There were three places on the teapot with small chips that are not visible if the lid is closed. Two chipped places on the lid and one on the neck rim of the teapot. Repaired using the traditional kintsugi technique: kokuso, sabi-urushi, two layers of black lacquer and one layer of red lacquer on which bronze powder was applied.
