🫖 Xi Shi by Gao Hongyin F1 90s
🔎 Master Gao Hong'yin 高红英 belongs to the old school of masters of the Factory, but all information about her is extracted from the biographies of other masters. It can be assumed that she was born in the late 30s or early 40s. In the biography of the master with the same name Gao Hong'yin 高洪英, but with a different character in the name, it is indicated that both masters in 1956 were students of the great master-founder Wang Yinchun 王寅春. According to the biography of Cui Wanyin 崔婉音, she was a student of Gao Hong'yin in 1973. That is, by this period our master herself was already in the status of a mentor.
The teapot was made in the late 80s, but more likely in the 90s (before 1997) in the Yixing Factory №1. It is difficult to say exactly, since both the processing and the clay are typical of the White and Laser Label periods. The drain is even and beautiful, there is no leakage from under the lid.
