Duan Ni Teapot 1990s
The teapot has the shape of 提梁供春壶 Tiliang Gong Chun Hu that is Gong Chun teapot with a handle over the top. This is an imitation of the products of the famous master Gong Chun (1506 -1566) who lived in the Ming Dynasty and set the standards for all modern teapots. In the style of this teapot, you can see a deliberate imitation of a cracked clay mold. This is due to the fact that Gong Chun drew inspiration from simple handmade teapots of monks.
Duan Ni clay (yellow), pleasant to the touch, beautiful workmanship, quick draining.
On the bottom there is a stamp 埶光 or simplified 艺光, which translates as "ray of art".
There are traces of friction in the area under the lid (see photo)
