🫖 Long Dan F1 White Label. Masterful work
🔎 The teapot was made during the White Label period (1987-1993) by craftswoman Zhang Lujuan 张丽娟 at Factory No. 1. The details of the shapes and processing of the teapot are perfect, and the surface is tactilely pleasant. The overall performance does not require any additional comments.
🧱 Purple clay Ji Ni with the addition of Duan Ni particles. The firing is high, the teapot is sonorous. It does not leak, the lid is almost free of backlash, and it pours evenly.
👩🏻🎨 Zhang Lujuan was born in March 1965 in the capital of ceramics - the village of Dingshu near Yixing. In 1982, she began working at Factory No 1 and studying at the most prestigious school of decorative arts masters under the guidance of Gu Shaopei 顾绍培 and Liu Jianping 刘建平. The main direction: smooth 光素器, geometric 方器 and ribbed 筋纹器 shapes.

👩🏻🎓 In 1986, she was enrolled in the Research Institute of Factory No 1, where she studied teapot carving with Fan Hongquan 范洪泉. The main direction: natural motifs such as pine, bamboo, plum, grapes, etc. In 1993, she completed advanced training at the Central Academy of Decorative and Applied Arts.
🏆 The teapots of the craftswoman participated in many exhibitions, where they received gold and silver medals. Some teapots are included in the permanent exhibitions of museums. In 2017, she was promoted to the title of National Craftswoman of China 中國國家級工藝美術師.
