🧱 Zi Ni (purple) clay. The lid fits well with almost no play, and the pour is fast.

🖤 Unfortunately, there was a micro-crack on the spout that only became visible when exposed to water. While such cracks are not always critical, the thin clay of the spout required the crack to be widened and sealed with black *urushi* lacquer; consequently, the teapot is being sold at a lower price. Otherwise, the body and lid are absolutely perfect.
