🫖 Pear Teapot Late Qing Chaozhou

🔎 The teapot is approximately from the late 19th - early 20th century, if we take into account that the late Qing period is 1820 - 1912.

⚱️ Completely handmade work by 手拉, pulled out on a potter's wheel.

🧂 Each teapot with a single hole is equipped with a filter-nest made of food-grade stainless steel.

Workshop 源兴号

The workshop where this teapot was made was founded by Wu Yingwu 吴英武 in 1847 or the 27th year of Emperor Daoguang's reign. It is located in Fengxi Village in Chaozhou City District (Guangdong Province, China). That is, the teapot is the first generation of products and the first generation of the founder's family, of which there are currently as many as six.

The representative of the 6th generation is Wu Hanjie 吴晗哲, who was born in 1986.
