Diamond Label F1 Bian Deng
This is a typical representative of the Diamond Label from Yixing Factory 1 (1987 - 1993). The factory began to move away from classic conservative forms and introduce more modern modifications. It is on this teapot that you can see the difference between the new and old eras. Just look at the forms of the old Bian Deng https://silverstork.co/80s-bian-deng-f1/. The new Bian Deng is more massive, "blown", a different shape of the spout, wall thickness and even a different approach to post-processing.
Inside the teapot, the new finish is radically different from the old one, for example, there is no rubbing of the bottom around the circumference now, but there is rubbing from the edge to the center. The clay is Ji Ni, that is, purple, low-fired. The photo could not convey this, but in person the clay has a shade of eggplant: rich purple.
Under the lid there is a stamp 林 "Lin" that is, forest. This does not matter, since at least 2 characters are required to determine the master's name. There may be several options for the origin of the stamps: this is an auxiliary stamp, and the main one was forgotten to be placed; this is the name of the team; this is nonsense or just a decorative element that looks more like reality.
